Jewel of the Nail started when founder Tina Mayes took a nail polish making class at the Polish and Beauty Expo and fell in love with the process. She named the business in honor of her mother Jewell, who loved nail polish. She also loved the 80s film The Jewel of the Nile. Put it all together, and a business was born!
